Rikkan sets up camp further down the road, far away from the fort. Once each day he takes a shift observing the patrols and activity around the fort.

Perception check results:

Fort Trevalay is diligently guarded by the Ironfang Legion. No matter the time of day those on guard are always very awake and very alert. This speaks well of their military discipline. They are all trained soldiers who were raised in a culture in which organization and soldering is taught to everyone. There are no hobgoblin civilians within hobgoblin society. There are always at least three sergeants with their rocs in the courtyard and two soldiers guarding every gate. You notice patrols of four leaving and returning to the fort every few days with different hobgoblins switching duty between patrol, guard, and off duty. Overall, you estimate you've seen a little over a dozen unique hobgoblins.

As for Leaders, there seems to be three who stand out among the others. It is hard to tell which one is in command.
- First one is a tough looking hobgoblin female with a double bladed sword. She wears a blue overcoat and a breastplate.
- Second one seems to be a priest of some sort. he wields a light flail and wears scale mail.
- Third one seems to be female in lamellar armor wielding a scimitar. Along side her is her pet cougar.


The dragon. On the second day of your watch, the dragon leaves early in the morning. He carried with him a bundle of something and flew north. By the end of the fourth day of your watch, he has yet to return.
