Morning Wood

This small bordello is the only one in Bellis located west of the Pit.

The public spaces of the Morning Wood are tastefully decorated. There is a seating area for people to wait on their favorite lady or lad. There were also some private booths for intimate conversation, or semi-public make-outs should that be the pleasure of the client. A sideboard with assorted treats, and beverages had been set up. All alcoholic beverages were only mild; light wines, and beers to make a client mellow and possibly sooth nerves, but not make them aggressive, or belligerent. Some touches that were obviously Nessa's had to be the rich gold decor with black trim and the shrine to Calistria, the otherwise nude statue of the goddess draped in filmy fabrics of black and yellow. Nessa's personal rooms had similar gold with black trim furnishings. There was a desk, fully large enough to accommodate someone, unseen, beneath it. There were cabinets for files, a display of finely crafted sex toys and an assortment of surprisingly tasteful erotic art of both sexes.

It was once owned and run by the prostitute Nia, but was purchased by Nessa shortly after the Battle of Bellis. Nessa has kept on Nia as the bordello’s manager, who in turn employs five other women in a small two story building. The staff usually cater to the seasonal loggers that make up the residents of the Pit, along with various other citizens who wish to keep their activities discreet. To assist with the latter, they have a system set up to help keep client’s identities secret. A tunnel leads from the basement of the building to a back room in the Tools of the Trade. Junkle? co-operates with Nessa and Nia in this regard and makes a small sum of money facilitating its use. Nessa also uses the bordello as her residence within Bellis.
